While you are gone on vacation, or, out of town, working or just need a safe comfortable place for your pet to stay we have the place for your pet. Our dog runs are heated and air-conditioned and your pet will have both inside and outside playtime. Separate “Kitty” world, quiet with big windows to watch the birds, comfortable beds, lots of “conversation”, healthy meals and snacks, and nap make for a good day. Because we don’t board a large number of pets our space does fill fast, especially prime holiday weeks. We suggest that you make your reservations well in advance. Please contact us for more information on rates, vaccination requirements and availability.

We offer a full range of options when that time comes when your pet may need a little extra something to keep them comfortable and happy. Pain management may be as simple as changing to a special food or as severe as a morphine pain patch for a few days after a critical surgery. We carry many nutraceticals (natural food supplements) from glucosamine and MSM to Omega fatty 3 acids mixed to a wide variety of formulas to meet your pet’s needs. Deramaxx and Rimadyl or possibly Metacam may be prescribed by one of our doctors to keep your special pet enjoying life every day.
Dentistry
Most dogs and cats eventually need a professional teeth cleaning. We do the same for your pet as your Dentist does for you. We thoroughly remove built up tarter and calculus from the teeth with ultrasonic scaling and hand scaling including above the gum line where tarter often starts. We polish the teeth to get as smooth surface as possible to reduce the recurrence of tartar build up. Fluoride is then applied to help the enamel remain strong.
Many pets have their teeth cleaned on an annual basis to ensure optimal oral health and to prevent dangerous infections from spreading into the liver, heart and kidneys. Dental procedures are performed using the same inhalation anesthetics and careful monitoring techniques that we use for our surgical patients.

For your cats and dogs this is the best way to get them home safely. Microchipping is safe, fast, and easy as getting a vaccination, to permanently identify your pet. Even if your pet loses its collar, a simple wave of the Multi-chip reader and your pets ID comes up. Someone will always be there with an iso frequency Res-Q microchip.
Radiology
At some point in your pet’s life, we may need an x-ray as part of a diagnostic work up or possible as an emergency situation. We are equipped for this with in house digital X-ray equipment. We can even make a CD of the films for you.

Geriatrics

We wish to keep your pets healthy and happy for as long as possible and this can be achieved through exercise, a healthy diet and regular veterinary check ups. Aging changes such as arthritis, vision and hearing losses are normal and cannot be prevented. Many changes related to disease, however, can be managed and treated successfully if detected early.
In addition to the routine preventative care for adult dogs and cats, we offer a Geriatric Work-up that includes a complete physical exam, chemistry analysis and complete blood count, we check thyroid levels, eye pressure for glaucoma, a urine sample is examined, and an EKG to detect early heart irregularities. Included is a follow up review and interpretation of results and consultation with your veterinarian to discuss any recommendations we may have.
